I am starting to get a handle on my new job. So far, I've been in the wrong classrooms 5 different times (I REALLY need to carry a schedule with me) and totally forgot to go to one on Friday. Moving around is very different. However, once I get where I am supposed to be and have a chance to start working with the kids, I am loving it! It is very rewarding for me to be able to devote my attention on just a couple of students who need extra help in a small group or one to one. I love the fact that I do not have all of the housekeeping duties of a regular classroom teacher. Instead, I am focusing my planning times on searching for different or more effective ways to help my ESE students understand a concept or be successful in the gen. ed classroom. It has been hard to find the time to blog, but I'm sure everyone understands how crazy the start of a new year can be.
I hope those of you who are still on vacation enjoy the last few days...and that everyone has a wonderful year.
Happy Blogging!
I've worked with people like that too. That's why I love blogging...everyone in Blog Land is super excited about teaching!

I'm so glad I found your blog! I'm can't imagine having to travel to several rooms throughout the day- that seems exhausting and confusing, but also fun! How great that you get to see others teaching and all the different classrooms! Thanks for finding my blog. I'm entering your giveaway next and I am your newest follower. :)

Adventures in Mrs. Martin’s Room
Hi Jen...I am starting to get the routine down and so far I am really enjoying getting to work with kids without all of the detritus that goes along with being a classroom teacher.
